Objective: A Fair and Transparent Customer Rating system
Customer rating is an important part of FoodLine, and we believe a fair and transparent system aids you in deciding which caterer to choose. From 2009, FoodLine has been collecting reviews from our past customers so that you can make an informed choice.
First phase: Average Score of all Customer Ratings
During our first phase, the review scoring of our caterers were based on reviews posted by past customers. The ratings of the caterer that you saw previously were the average of all customer ratings.
Now: Fairer than the Average Score
Based on feedback from both customers and caterers, we understand that a simple average of all the ratings may not be fair because ratings for bigger events should be accorded slightly more weightage. As such, we have implemented a weightage system. For example, because on average a Buffet order impacts 10 times more people than a Tingkat order, a Buffet rating’s weightage should also be 10 times that of a Tingkat rating.
Also to ensure that the score is relevant to you, the calculation of the score is now based on reviews in the last 1 year. |
