He was able to answer our doubts with regards to the halal certification, as we have some Malay colleagues coming over to our housewarming. The housewarming set up was unique as Grain uses wooden spoon and forks. The wooden utensil used was environmentally friendly and also it create a awareness to my colleague who attended my housewarming. As a environment conscious person, I am glad that Grain actually make the effort to go green. The food that was catered was on point too and most of my colleague actually commented that it was the most healthy housewarming food they had. I am glad that I make the right choice and catered the best healthy food that would make an improvement on my colleague health. Overall, i would definitely recommend Grain for their superb service provided and their effort to go green as well as the healthy food that was catered. We opened it and there were plenty of ice, we had to refill it with drinks that we had prepare due to our experience (insufficient drinks) too from Grain last year. But this year, not even 40 pax has arrived and the drink gone in less than an hour is absurd. The Panko prawns were so tiny all we see is crusts. The guests were joking that it’s treasure hunting. The size is no joke, like 25% prawns and 75% crusts, it’s a big heap of crusts. Lastly, one container of the vanilla cream(bread and butter pudding) was placed in front of the salad, some of my guests had mistakenly thought it’s dressing for the salad and complained it taste weird then I realised the mistake. To be fair, the cauliflower couscous pomegranate and roast chicken were wonderfull though. I love Grain’s good food, but today was disappointing.
