Yes, tasty. Everyone likes it. Vegetables are soft and easy to eat. Duck is also soft and tender. Good Choice.

Very delicious food. The order are also prepared on time when we went to pickup the food. Our guests all like the food. Highly recommended.

Ordered this for friends gathering at home, food came still hot. And generally tasted very yummy, we all loved the Curry fish head and babi pong tay. Wish the volume of babi could be more though :P

Very homecook taste. Hee peow soup has heepeow roll with meat and a big abolone. Blue pea flower is sweet . Ayam buah keluak has three big nuts with nicely minced fillings. Though a bit pricey but the food standard is worth the set.

Delivery was late and food was not as good.i order previously and food was really good and everybody was praising it.

Great prompt service and value for money menu. Guests loved the rendang and the chendol. Would have liked more cutlery though.

The delivery came late as was told by the coordinator, Pei Xuan that it was due to the certain request from earlier customer. However this was told only after my call to her. The food was delivered warm, nice and soup was not enough. Alot of guests ... More like the soup, babi pong tay, prawns and timoon. Dessert was chendool and guests like that its thick and coconuty! Decor was ok and I borrowed a batik cloth for my own dining table. They were able to accede to request however they came early at 4pm to collect the setup. Guests have to help me carry the food back to my house.

Though Food is good but very upset with the amount of food serve.
I'd ordered for 30 pax but at least 3 dishes are served for only 20 pax. 15 families members had their 1st round and the food (3 dishes) left with only one quarter! Had to prove to ... More family members of my order for 30 pax with the invoice. This is very embarrassing.

I'm a big fan of Straits Chinese Nonya Restaurant as they really are good with what they do. Every single dish is worth the praise and my guests particularly enjoyed Ayam Buah Keluak, Sotong Sambal, Udang Assam Goreng and Hee Peow Soup (my ... More favorite). Service is really great as well, the team came on time, and set up was very efficient. The staff who came were very friendly too! I will high recommend anyone who wants to cater nonya food to go for Straits Chinese. They will not disappoint your guests.
