I ordered from Thomson during my confinement and decided to try another ... More caterer this time round. I choose to order lunch because they serve pig trotter vinegar every wednesday lunch. The different types of rice are my favourite as it is so tasty and healthy. Food came at 1015 which is pretty early for lunch. However, it is fresh because it is stated that the food was prepared at 10am. The portion is not really very big as commented by other diners but is sufficient to eat with the rice (unlike Thomson confinement food when most of the time i have leftover rice and the dishes has finished). As Tian Wei serves fusion food, I don't feel that the food I am eating is very much like confinement food and they are more like healthier and high class tingkat delivery. More with their fusion of western, noodle and confinement food together. Not only that, I also get to enjoy their dessert - sweet potato ginger soup and cheng teng! Instead of white rice provided, they made an effort to have different types of rice (ie. brown rice, rice with barley, rice with pumpkin seeds etc) for every meals! No more boring and repeated meals every week again. Their delivery man is always filled with great smiles, even how tired he was, having to rush to so many places! Sometimes, if we were not able to open the door for him, they will even call to inform and ensure that we are aware the food was hanged outside our gate. Customer service was excellent! There was once, they mixed up my preference. When I go contacted them, they sound sincere and apologetic. And they even offered a complimentary meal for the mistake they made.
