Is there a price difference on FoodLine?

Will the cake shop impose any hidden charges if I order through FoodLine.sg?
No. Our cake shops are committed to offer the price that was listed on FoodLine. Cash rewards are also offered and decided independently by FoodLine and so does not affect the cost you are paying.

How do I make payment for my order?
You can pay for your cakes online.

How many days do I need to order in advance?
It varies with cake shops. We highly recommend placing orders at least 3 days in advance. Please order earlier for Christmas..

How do I know if my order is successfully placed online?
After placing your order online, you will receive an email to inform you that your order has been successfully placed. Thereafter, the cake shop will get back to you within the same day or no later than 1-2 business days to confirm your order.

How do I modify/cancel my order after placing my order on FoodLine?
You can do so by contacting the cake shop directly after they’ve confirmed the order with you.

Will there be any cancellation charges should I cancel my order?
FoodLine does not charge you for orders cancellations. Different cake shops have different cancellation policies that will be shared when they contact you.

What happens if the cake I’ve ordered and paid online for is not available?
It usually does not happen. In the rare event that it does happen, full payment would be refunded to you in 5-7 working days to your credit card.

What is this cash reward all about?
FoodLine offers all FoodLine customers a cash reward of RM8 when you leave a review for the cake shop after your event. The cash reward will be transferred to the bank account that you have specified.

Can I order cakes on behalf on an organization via FoodLine? Will I be entitled to the cash reward?
Yes, you can and you’ll still be entitled to cash rewards.

Will the cash rewards be indicated in the invoice?
No, the cash reward will not be indicated in the invoice.

How to claim cash reward?
After your event has passed, login to the
Cash Reward page to leave a review. On the review page, indicate your bank account details and the cash reward will be transferred to you in 3-5 working days.

When is the latest I have to claim the cash reward?
Your cash reward will expire 30 days after your event date (w.e.f 20th Feb 2020). For example, if your event date is on 1st May, then the last day to claim the cash reward will be 31st May. This is to ensure reviews on our platform are kept up to date.

What are FL Points?
Buy on FoodLine and earn FoodLine Points (FL Points). For online payments, FL Points can be used to offset the price directly. For cash/cheque payment, FL Points can be used to increase your cash reward!

The refund is usually immediate or within 2 working days from order rejection/cancellation.

How much are FL Points worth?
- For online payment, 100 FL Points is equal to $1.
- For other forms of payment, 100 FL Points is equal to $1 cash reward

How many FL Points can be used per order?
You can use up to 10% of the order amount, capped at $100.

If I just ordered 1 order but is pending merchant to accept the order, can I use the FL Points for the 2nd order?
As the first order may accepted, you cannot use FL Points for the 2nd order.

When do I receive FL Points?
Usually within 30 days of your order been completed, you will receive FL Points.
After you have submitted your order, you will be informed of FL Points which you can expect to receive when your order is completed. Your order is deemed completed usually 30 days after the caterer has collected payment from you, or when you have submitted a review and invoice for your order.

Can I provide reviews if I didn't order through FoodLine?
Currently we only allow customers who have ordered through FoodLine.sg to post reviews, and claim the cash rewards.

Who provide the reviews on FoodLine.sg?
The reviews are provided by past customers who have ordered and experienced the cake shop’s services through FoodLine.
