Value-for-money caterer but there is a better one out there!

The ordering process was seamless, and the person helping me with my order was friendly and attentive. However, once I made my payment, she became completely unreachable. I tried to text her on the actual day to confirm my catering for that evening, ... More but she went silent.

The caterer delivered as promised at 5:15 p.m., with my scheduled appointment being at 6:00 p.m.

I was disappointed with the buffet setup. The food was simply arranged with food warmers, without any decorative items like fake flowers or vases, which had been promised by the lady I spoke to when placing my order. Additionally, there were no labels for the food items, so I had to explain to my guests what each dish was when they asked.

The food was generally served warm. However, my only complaint was the fruit punch, which was extremely sweet. It seemed that the person who prepared it did not mix it with plain water, as all my guests commented on how overly sweet the drink was. I had to buy two bottles of mineral water to dilute it.

I provided feedback to the company on the following Monday, and it took them four days to respond. When I asked what they wanted me to update in this review since I hadn’t heard from them, the person in charge insisted that the fruit punch was mixed correctly. This was surprising, given that all my guests had reported it was excessively sweet.

The company offered to compensate me with a plate of chocolate eclairs, but I politely declined the offer as it required me to collect them in person.

Overall, it is a value-for-money package if you don’t mind the aforementioned issues.
