Setup was punctual.
The XO seafood fried rice was spicy. It was not mentioned anywhere that it would be spicy so most of the elderly and children did not have a staple, until we cooked white rice ourselves.
The food was generally salty. Just ... Moresalty, no fragrance at all.
Best dish was the "Kong Bak Pau", braised pork bun. However, the measly candle couldn't heat up the buns, which hardened. Try steaming it yourself and the taste betters tenfold.
Toufu was tough. There was more skin then the soft insides and it was rubbery. The curry was disappointing, everyone could only taste salt. It was not fragrant at all.
Golden salted egg fish was also tough like the toufu.
Guests commented that the prawn (not deshelled) was also not that fresh. It was more of sweet and sour prawn, no lychee taste at all.
Overall, a disappointing meal for all my guests. There were so much leftovers... Show less
