Cake was delivered in a very nice packing. However, i suggest that if there is an app or SMS that can keep us inform whether the items had been delivered. This is good especially if we are sending it to a friend as a surprise gift.

Thank you for your review and compliment for the cake and our packaging.
Regarding your statement of "I suggest that if there is an app or SMS that can keep us inform whether the items had been delivered.", we are unaware of this ... More request at all. We never received such notice/request from Foodline.

We are one of the caterers on Foodline. It is a platform where customers like you can place food order. Foodline is responsible to pass your extra/special request that is NOT stated in the order to us so that we can follow up accordingly. Regarding your request stated in the review, we are never in the loop and we are not informed either through email, phone call, SMS nor WhatsApp.

Sending an SMS to the customer upon delivery to the recipient is not a common practice especially the customer and recipient is 2 different person. However it is not a tall order but honestly we need to be informed of your request in the first place.
